Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, low-walled cylindrical form with applied tab handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt stripe underscored by three brushed cobalt clovers. Professional restoration to cracks in underside. Additional professional restoration to crack from rim and cracks to lower half of crock on one side. Rim chips. Group of 1 1/2" thin lines above one handle. H 5 1/2" ; Diameter 11 1/4".
