Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "MOYER. HARRISBURG," circa 1858, approximately one-gallon ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, tall flaring collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip design. 1" rim chip. Glazed-over dent to one handle. Some very faint surface lines, which probably occurred in the firing and do not go through to the interior. H 9 1/2".
