One-Gallon "E.J. MILLER / ALEXANDRIA, VA" Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jar, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with straight and wavy stripes of cobalt and the stenciling "E.J. MILLER & CO. / QUEENSWARE. / ALEXANDRIA. VA" surrounded a stenciled foliate design. Approximately 4" vertical hairline on side of jar. H 9 7/8".
