Salt-Glazed Stoneware Tapered Crock, Stamped "FROM / J. EBERLY & BRO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1885, approximately one-gallon pan or bowl-shaped tapered crock, impressed with J. Eberly & Bro. maker's mark on shoulder and covered in a salt glaze. 3 1/2" Y-shaped line on side of crock, extending 2" onto underside. A few rim chips. Light chipping to base. H 5 3/8" ; Diameter 8".
