Two-Gallon Wheeling, WV Stoneware Advertising Jug, WV or Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid form with rounded shoulder and tooled spout, stenciled in cobalt with the advertising "SHAEFER & DRIEHORST / WINES / LIQUORS / 1428 MAIN ST / WHEELING W.VA." Dryness to cobalt. 7/8" salt drip on left side. Two tiny spout nicks. H 14 1/4".
