Glazed Redware Lidded Sugar Bowl, American, early to mid 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, open handles, and slightly domed lid, the surface covered in a blackish lead and manganese glaze. Provenance: William Kelly Young Collection. 1 3/4" x 2" inverted T-shaped line from rim of bowl. Light wear to handles. Wear to rim. Chips to knob on lid. Small chips to edge of lid and flange on underside of lid. H (including lid) 4".
