Scarce Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JOHN MULVEY / NEw BRUNSWICK, NJ," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and tall spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt leaf accented with dots. Unusual mark. Spout chip and a glazed-over spout chip. T-shaped hairline at base, measuring 1 3/4" x 3". H 13 3/4".
