Two New York State Stoneware Jugs, third quarter 19th century, a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed cobalt leaf design, stamped "F.A. GALE / GALESVILLE NY," paired with a one-gallon jug with the cobalt initials "D.M.," stamped "FORT EDWARD STONE WARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y." Gale jug missing handle and has short line at base. Fort Edward jug missing handle. H (of Fort Edward jug) 11 1/2".
