Stoneware Canning Jug, Stamped "SOLOMON BELL / STRASBURG / Va," circa 1870, cylindrical vessel with rounded shoulder and flared, wide-mouth opening, impressed with Solomon Bell maker's mark at shoulder. Rim chips. Salt glob on handle. Hole in underside. H 8 1/2".
