Glazed Redware Beanpot, New England origin, mid 19th century, with ovoid midsection, rounded foot, and ribbed handle, decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Attractive yellowish-green clay with darker spots. 1 3/4" crack on underside, extending onto base area of pot, where it spiders somewhat. Two base chips. Wear to rim. A few glaze flakes on interior base of pot. H 6 1/2" ; Diameter 6".
