Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jar, Stamped "SUGARVALEY / PA," circa 1870, ovoid jar with thin flattened rim and incised shoulder line, decorated with a brushed cobalt flower. Desirable Central PA maker's mark. As-made condition with a small, glazed-over stone ping on rim. H 7 1/2".
