Two Glazed Redware Flowerpots, attributed to Anthony Bacher at the Big Hunting Creek Pottery, Mechanicstown (now Thurmont), MD, circa 1880, both with flaring crimped rims, tooled accents to body, and original drain holes in underside, decorated with splashed manganese over cream-colored slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Damage to both including chips, flaking, losses to rim, and glaze loss to base, one including a 1 3/4" chip to underside at edge. H (of tallest) 6 5/8".
