Rare Yellowware Pitcher Marked "SALT & MEAR / EAST / LIVERPOOL / OHIO," circa 1842-1860, bulbous pitcher with ornate rim, large pouring spout, applied ornate molded handle, and footed base, body bearing elaborate relief thistle and leaf motif, shoulder with elaborate relief grapevine motif. Restoration to rim and spout including front 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" section. Minor surface wear. Small hairline on underside. H (to top of handle) 11 1/4".
