Two Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Balimore, MD, circa 1880, both of cylindrical form and tooled rim, one with cobalt band above four stylized flowers, the other with three brushed stylized flowers. Banded jar with minor contact marks, small chip at base and thin hairline crack on underside. Other jar with thin 2" crack from rim, some fry to cobalt, and thin 1" y-shaped crack at base running onto underside. H (of tallest) 8 3/4".
