Two Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1870, both of cylindrical, handled form, one retaining lid, both with brushed floral-and-foliate design. Both impressed with different Cowden & Wilcox maker's marks. Both jars with chips and some fry to cobalt. Lidded jar with staining and y-shaped hairling crack. H (to top of lid) 12 1/4".
