Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Rooster with Applied Rattlesnake, Signed and Dated "CLINT ALDERMAN / 2001," GA origin, 2001, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled sculpture of a rooster with serrated carving to comb and tail, featuring a hand-modeled and applied rattlesnake across the figure's back. Elaborate scale and feather detail throughout. Surface covered in an olive-colored alkaline glaze. Incised Clint Alderman signature and date at base. Excellent condition with a small chip to comb. H 17".
