Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Brown-and-White-Slip Snake Decoration, Signed "Bayne / Maker / SC," Michel Bayne, Greenville, SC origin, early 21st century, rotund jug with ribbed strap handle, decorated with three iron-and-kaolin-slip snake motifs in the Collin Rhodes style. Gray-green alkaline-glazed surface. Incised Michel Bayne signature below handle. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 17".
