Fine Glazed Redware Pitcher with Marbled Slip Decoration, American, early to mid 19th century, squat-shaped pitcher with footed base, ribbed strap handle, and tooled rim, the lead-glazed surface featuring marbled copper and manganese slip over a yellowish slip surface. Wear to rim and handle. A 1/2" chip to interior of rim beside spout. Some tiny glaze flakes, and a few small glaze flakes, to body. H 5".
