Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, second quarter 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar with brushed tulip motif, stamped "L. NORTON / BENNINGTON," VT origin; a one-gallon jar with large brushed tulip motif; and a one-gallon jug with large brushed tulip motif with elaborate leaves, attributed to Abial Price, Taunton, MA or Middletown Point, NJ. Norton jar with two cracks from rim, minor rim chips, staining to surface, and string around neck. Other jar with significant restoration to surface. Jug with significant restoration, not affecting decoration, and a Y-shaped crack in underside. H (of jug) 13".
