Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug, Signed "David R. Meaders," Cleveland, GA, late 20th century, ovoid jug with hand-modeled and applied clay face featuring rock eyes, finely-sculpted nose and ears, and open mouth with rock teeth. Surface covered in dark-olive alkaline glaze. Underside incised with David R. Meaders signature. Provenance: Carl and Marian Mullis Collection. Excellent condition with some bubbling to glaze. H 11".
