Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Elephant, Signed "REGGIE MEADERS," Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1990, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled figure of an elephant with curled trunk and applied tusks, the surface covered in a light-brown glaze with white, green, and red highlights. Incised signature on underside. Provenance: Carl and Marian Mullis Collection. Exhibited: All Creatures Great and Small, Georgia Museum of Art, April 20, 2011 to October 16, 2012; On long-term loan to Colonial Williamsburg, 2019 to 2023. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. L 12".
