Three-Gallon New York City Stoneware Advertising Jug, NY City or State origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "Max Stiner & Co. / 36 Vesey St. / New York." Freehand stripe below spout. An in-the-firing line to upper handle terminal. A few minor glazed-over surface chips near the base, which are glazed-over and occurred prior to the firing. Minor wear to interior of spout. Light surface wear. H 16".
