One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Vine Decoration, Inscribed "1.G.," probably NJ origin, circa 1855, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with heavily-leafed vine on one side and the distinctive, three-dimensional notation, "1.G.," on reverse. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 10 3/4".
