Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1820, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, brush-decorated with cobalt splotches around the shoulder and highlighting the capacity mark. Some spout wear. Shallow chipping to base. A 3 3/4" tight vertical spider line at base on reverse. H 14 1/2".
