One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "RAGER LLOYD & CO / Palatine WVa," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Rager, Lloyd & Co. maker's stenciling surrounding a stenciled plant. Freehand wavy stripe decoration above and below. Superb color. Excellent condition with some light staining and minor wear to surface. H 9 7/8".
