Rare and Fine Miniature Stoneware Spaniel with Cobalt Slash Decoration, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1875, molded figure of a seated spaniel, brush-decorated throughout with cobalt slashes. A highly-prized form from this region featuring clay and cobalt color distinctive to the Greensboro / New Geneva potting school. Very nice condition with very minor muzzle wear, a chip to tail, and two chips to underside at edge. H 3 3/4".
