Fine Flint Enamel Figure of a Lion, attributed to Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT, circa 1849-1852, molded figure of a standing lion with protruding tongue, curled tail, and paw resting on a ball, the upper body covered in applied "coleslaw" hair. Mottled olive and orange glaze throughout. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7 1/2" ; L 10".
