Manganese-Decorated Redware Bowl, Norwalk, CT or Huntington, Long Island, NY origin, second quarter 19th century, with rounded sides, flattened rim, and footed base, decorated with manganese drips to the rim and interior, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Chips and wear to rim. Wear to interior base. A thin 2 1/2" crack from rim. Diam. 12 1/2" ; H 4 1/2".
