Two Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jugs, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, N.C.," early fourth quarter 20th century, both of ovoid form with applied facial features and china teeth, one coated in a dark glaze with rutile, the other with swirled glaze. Both impressed with the maker's mark of Burlon B. Craig on underside. Dark-glazed example with a 1 1/8" section of one ear reglued. Both in otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of taller) 12".
