Rare Redware Plate with Two-Color-Slip Star Motif, probably PA origin, early to mid 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in copper and yellow slip with an eight-pointed star motif, including copper swags on the interior of each point. Shoulder decorated with a wavy copper line flanked by straight yellow lines. Rim chips. Losses to slip. Some light wear and knife marks to interior. Diam. 13".
