Stoneware Yale University Mug, American, Dated 1897, cylindrical mug with Albany slip glaze, featuring a central sgraffito Hebraic insignia flanked by the deeply-carved inscription, "Yale 1897 / Prom.," below crossed pennants, and the words, "If this be / vanity / Who'd be wise: / So drink to the / times that / are gone." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 4 3/4".
