Glazed Redware Jar, Bristol County, MA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base and semi-rounded rim, the lead-glazed surface decorated with streaks of manganese over a colorful ground featuring yellowish, orange, red, and olive mottled hues. Excellent color. Exfoliation to base area. Two small flakes to body. A few rim chips and light rim wear. Base chips. H 7 3/4".
