Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with short collar, decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant design on the front. Collar additionally decorated with four brushed clovers. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. As-made condition with a 1 3/4" glazed-over flake to base on reverse and two in-the-firing pings to handle. H 8 1/2".
