Two One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, both of similar cylindrical form, one decorated with an unusual grape-cluster-shaped blossom on the front and reverse, the other with brushed chain link decoration. Floral-decorated jar with wear to rim and several hairline cracks. Chain link jar with a few small rim chips and a minor base chip.
