One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.", circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a looping flourish. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small salt drip to right side of jug.
