Fine Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "JOHN BELL", Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical mug with footed base, tooled rim, and extruded handle, the surface decorated with light-brown sponging over a yellow ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with two small pieces of adhered clay to handle. H 4 1/8".
