Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, second or third quarter 19th century, a four-gallon jar with slip-trailed flower blossom design, New York State origin; a one-gallon crock, attributed to the Brown Brothers Pottery, Huntington, Long Island, NY; and a one-and-a-half-gallon ovoid jar with flowering vine motif. Largest with a 2 1/2" flake to side of rim, wear to interior of rim and inner rim for lid, a V-shaped line to left of decoration, an in-the-firing iron ping to front, staining around base, a small X-shaped line to reverse, and some exfoliation to base area and underside. Attributed Brown Brothers crock with some fry to cobalt, two short hairlines from rim, chipping to interior of rim, and a line across underside. Ovoid jar with rim chips, staining to surface, a Y-shaped line to reverse, and some light surface wear.
