Two Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA", circa 1870-1889, of approximately one-gallon and one-and-a-half-gallon capacities, both of semi-ovoid form with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, each decorated with a large tulip extending across the front. Both with H.B. Pfaltzgraff maker's marks. One-gallon jar with rim chips and a thin, approximately 3 1/2" crack from rim on reverse. One-and-a-half-gallon jar is slightly out-of-round, with an approximately 4 3/4" hairline from rim on side of jar, and some light staining.
