Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Western PA and New York State origin, third quarter 19th century, one with cobalt swag decoration and freehand "2", Western PA origin, the other with double-tulip decoration, New York State origin. Western PA jar in excellent condition with staining to surface. New York State jar with a long hairline on underside, continuing a few inches up front, as well as some staining.
