Slip-Decorated Redware Bowl, Mid-Atlantic origin, tapered bowl with semi-rounded rim, the interior decorated with circular manganese sponging flanked by copper stripes, the rim decorated with a wavy line of cream-colored slip. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a sixty-year private collection. Wear to interior. Rim chips. Light wear to rim. H 3 5/8" ; Diameter 11".
