Small-Sized Vertical-Handled Stoneware Jar with Incised Compass Decoration, attributed to Thomas Commeraw, Manhattan, NY, circa 1800, ovoid jar with footed base, heavily-tooled shoulder, and applied vertical handles. Provenance: Property of a New York State collector. A restored curving crack to bottom half of jar. Light surface wear around midsection. Two minor rim chips and a tiny rim nick. H 7 3/4".
