Rare Spongeware Pitcher with Pittsburgh, PA Advertising, American, late 19th or early 20th century, tankard-form pitcher with cobalt sponging to shoulder, base, and handle, the midsection featuring the cobalt advertising, "JOHN SCHOEPF / MEATS / 3433 BUTLER ST., / PITTSBURGH, PA.", flanked by relief, cobalt-decorated flower motifs. A 3" hairline from rim on side of pitcher. Otherwise excellent condition. H 9".
