Two-Gallon Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout and ribbed handle, the surface covered in a colorful yellow glaze with a dark-red clay ground visible at the shoulder and handle. Very nice condition with a few small surface chips to shoulder area, possibly in-the-firing, and a couple in-the-firing lines to shoulder. H 12 1/4".
