Two Stoneware Canning Jars with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, both of cylindrical form with wax sealer rims, each decorated with three cobalt stripes. One with an in-the-firing clay residue to top of rim, a raised area to left side of jar, and an in-the-firing clay separation on underside. The other jar with a chip to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. H 6 1/4".
