Two Glazed Redware Flasks, Huntington, Long Island, NY origin or Norwalk, CT origin, second quarter 19th century, both of similar form with pinched sides and semi-rounded spouts, decorated with manganese daubs and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Collected in the Long Island area. Taller flask in very nice condition with surface wear, wear to spout, and some in-the-firing contact marks to spout and side. Smaller flask with a small base chip and three glaze flakes to spout. H (of taller flask) 7 1/2".
