Glazed Redware Inkstand, probably Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, slab-constructed inkstand with elliptical carving to edge and incised flame finials. Includes original well and sander. Surface covered in a streaky lead-and-manganese glaze. Incised "3" on underside of stand, well, and sander. Well with reglued and colored piece. Small chips to sander. A base chip to underside of inkstand at edge. Some small nicks and wear to edges. L (of inkstand) 5 3/8"; W 3 3/4" ; H (including well and sander) 2 7/8".
