Two Poughkeepsie, NY Stoneware Bottles, third quarter 19th century, both of similar cylindrical form with pronounced spouts, one slip-trailed with the word "Post", the other slip-trailed "J.C." with spots on the interiors of the letters. J.C. bottle with chips to base of spout, faint lanes to base of bottle, and some light staining. Post bottle with shallow chipping to base of spout and a small chip and tiny nick to top of spout. H (of J.C. bottle) 10 3/4".
