Westerwald Stoneware "GR" Jug with Incised and Impressed Decoration, German origin circa 1750, bulbous jug with heavily-tooled collar, decorated with an applied Georgius Rex medallion flanked by an incised checkerboard pattern. Impressed overlapping circles above and below. Decoration highlighted in cobalt slip. Collar highlighted in manganese slip. Marked "6" on reverse. Mint condition. H 6".
