Fine Stoneware Raeren with Triple Face Decoration, Belgian (previously German) origin, circa 1500, ovoid mug with crimped base and three applied handles, decorated around the body with three hand-modeled faces of bearded men with impressed embellishments. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, which descended in a Michigan family. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor in-the-firing separations to one handle. H 7".
