Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Churn, Southeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, semi-ovoid churn with flared collar and applied lug handles, the surface covered in a streaky greenish alkaline glaze. Impressed "2" under one handle. Excellent condition with a rim chip and minor wear to one handle.
